Commands of Jesus:
Love me above all!

“If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters yes, even his own life he cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:26

But Jesus replied, “Who is My mother, and who are My brothers?”- Pointing to His disciples, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers. For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.” Matthew 12:48-50

But He replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear the word of God and carry it out.” Luke 8:21

But Jesus replied, “Who are My mother and My brothers?”- Looking at those seated in a circle around Him, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers!For whoever does the will of God is My brother and sister and mother.” Mark 3:33-35

Then Jesus said to them, “Only in his hometown, among his relatives, and in his own household is a prophet without honor.” Mark 6:4

But Jesus told him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.” Matthew 8:22

“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “ no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for My sake and for the gospel will fail to receive a hundredfold in the present age houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields, along with persecutions and in the age to come, eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.” Mark 10:29-31

Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.- A man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’ Anyone who loves his father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me;and anyone who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Matthew 10:34-38

Do you think that I have come to bring peace to the earth? No, I tell you, but division.- From now on, five in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” Luke 12:51-53

You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you will be put to death. And you will be hated by everyone because of My name. Yet not even a hair of your head will perish. By your patient endurance you will gain your souls. Luke 21:16-19
